If ever i get my own car or have another person to drive me anywhere I would want to go, I would definitely miss the public vehicles. (*commuting refers to both public and private transportation. commuting used to only mean public transportation is Filipinism).

I actually hate having to ride public vehicles. especially during days like today (it's raining cats and dogs. and mice.). good thing Ace (my laptop) didnt get wet. or else i'll kill the sky for sending so much rain..:)

i was standing near the bus stop. a jeepney came, and i got in. you know those yellers? like the people who got paid for just reading the signs loudly? i mean..the ones who go, "oh, kabitekabitekabite! aalis na o, kabitekabite!" that's, like, so annoying! i mean, we could read the signs. they're displayed in front of the freakin' vehicle and..oh well i understand. perhaps their purpose is to "call" the people who cant read. or maybe those who are far from the jeepney and they couldnt read the sign.

anyway..here's what the YELLER (is it right to call them this way?) said that made me laugh...quietly, of course.

Yeller: oh ich-em (sm) palapala! *i started to go near the jeepney*..hep! chachakay, chachakay! *i got in and sat down*.. yehey!

if i were with a friend, i would ask him to shut up. hehe...

then on another jeepney, everyone was handing their payment to the manong. one woman said:

woman: ma, o. bayad ho. isa hong citizen.

CITIZEN?! what kind of citizen? i'm a filipino citizen, too. so do i get a discount? :) haha... if she were an american citizen, would they give her a discount? no, you old hag bag of chips.

hehe..maybe she wanted to say "senior citizen". tsktsk..old people. they really cant accept the fact that they're senior and dying. :)

go and laugh. we all die in the end anyway. :)
