annyeong!

안녕 하세요! i miss watching korean shows. it's because i always watch hanazakari no kimitachi he (JP). ohh mann..i heart toma ikuta. well..so much! i also watch fushigi yuugi on dvd. :) you know..the anime. :))

and guys,YES. i can read and write korean. im NOT korean. i dont look like im korean. :) i had friends from highschool who were korean. one was 밯
버람 (Bang Boram), and the other was my sister's batchmate. Her name is 박 아름 (Bak Ahreum or Ahreum Park). im closer to Ahreum than i was with Boram. Ahreum taught me a lot of korean words and expressions. we had 2 notebooks: one was our diary and the other was my korean notebook where she put all of my 'lessons'. i learned a lot, but we didnt have a lot time so i only learned the expressions that are often used. they are these expressions like thank you, im sorry, happy birthday, enjoy your meal, and a lot more.

i love learning new languages, especially korean because i always watch korean shows. i always tune in to KBS world and Arirang. they have many tv dramas that are really interesting. i watch 'mom's dead upset', a Korean drama (that is also quite funny sometimes). i also watch a show called Happy Together. They are inside a sauna (i think) and they talk about random stuff. the show doesnt censor their conversations, so the show is really funny! haha.. :) BUUUUT..you wont get it unless you watch a lot of korean tv shows.

because im really addicted to learning the language, i always try to understand korean shows without subtitles. sometimes i understand them, sometimes i dont. i definitely need more practice.

i can share with you all my knowledge about the korean language and writing. im sharing them to katie, and it's so nice because she knows how to read korean now!:) she knows some korean expressions, too. she learned that within 4 months (or less?), i think.. but it didnt take her a year! yay!

i haven't mastered writing in korean because some korean words have weird spellings. yes, they have have spellings, too!:) you shouldnt base your spelling by the pronunciation, or else you'd be dead. kidding.

and because a lot of my friends are learning korean, this one GUY (who isnt really studying korean)learned something from us, too. HIS FRIENDSTER SHOUTOUT GOES:

YEOBOYA YEOBOYA KAJIMA POPOAE SH***!-korean style

hmm..it means "honey honey, don't. *bbobbo hae (let's kiss) F***!-korean style". dont try saying this. this is extremely bad. haha.. CARLO HA! BAD DOGGY. :]

eto si CARLO. sometimes people call him METZ, because his surname is METILA. parusa yan for using bad words. hehe! :] 메-렁! (me-rong! *belat)

ayan...hehe..so if you're interested to learn korean (and if you need my help), you can tell me. tag me. or whatever. it'll be my pleasure! (but my knowledge is limited hihihi). okay 'til here. God bless!
